Through our membership in OSA (Overseas Shipping Association) we can offer highly competitive container rates worldwide, with reliable services on first rate ocean lines. For smaller shipments we operate an extensive ocean groupage service worldwide. Because Universal Express is one of the major air freight forwarders out of Poland we have very close links with the major airlines, to help ensure rapid transit at competitive rates.

We are the only mover with our own bonded warehouse and office at Warsaw airport and the major container seaport of Gdynia.

Shipments are fully export packed by our expert crews, and loaded directly at residence into steamship containers for dispatch direct to port - minimizing handling and transit time. Smaller groupage shipments are loaded into wooden crates for greater security during consolidation.

At destination our colleagues handle complete delivery services including customs clearance, unpacking, and debris removal. Our services at destination are continuously monitored and we personally know our colleagues at destination.

European Moves

Moving within the European Union, or further afield in the "New Europe" - requires different Customs procedures. Universal Express is well experienced with all types of moves within Europe from the Balkans to the Baltics, and from Lisbon to Moscow.

In fact we are often asked to send our own crews to pack or deliver shipments throughout Europe. Whatever the need, you can count on an excellent service, by dedicated truckload, or for smaller loads via our groupage system throughout Europe.

Local moves

Moving around the corner can be just as stressful as moving abroad.
People tend to think just because it is a short distance it should not be a problem. We are here to make sure it is not a problem taking
professional steps to handle the move for you stress-free. We have
pioneered the use of reusable plastic crates for local moves making the move faster, more quiet, and less dusty.

Office & Industrial Moves

Universal Express has a separate division specializing in office and
industrial moving. Large or small, these moves have special requirements often taking place over weekends or at night to avoid customer work downtime in transit between locations. Planning is key to a successful office move and that's why we produce a "Moves Method Statement" before each move. We have pioneered the use of reusable plastic crates for local moves making the move faster, more quiet, and less dusty.

Industrial moving tends to require more specialized crating and
equipment for moving such items as factory production lines. Universal Express can also handle such moves internationally.

Insurance

Insurance is an important part of every move. As much as can be done to professionally protect a shipment, mishaps can occurr beyond anyone's control. Universal Express helps protect against this by offering insurance coverage through large and well-known insurance companies.

The paperwork is relatively simple, and in the event of a claim settlement is handled in Warsaw. For further details please ask your

Packing and Crating

Universal Express has the full range of packing materials: Book cartons, barrels, linnen boxes, upright and flat wardrobe cartons, picture corners, sheet carton, blankets and more. If you would just like to purchase packing materials please contact The Box Shop.
